Ok I am absolutely livid right now... I just spent 2 hours typing out a tutorial and I reach for the mouse so I can click the save button and the fuking retards at MS think that having a tiny button just above where your thumb goes that when clicked does a browser "back" function is just a great idea. So of course I accidentally tab that button as I grab the mouse, the browser goes back and all my fucking text is gone. Awesome, 2 hours wasted, thanks a bunch MS. What a logical place for that button, you're absolute fucking rocket scientists.

Here's to you MS intellipoint idiots:

So now I have to retype all that out (about 2000+ words all nicely formatted) and it probably won't be as cool as the first time I wrote it.

Oh and good job IE at saving my form data... I think I just found my reason to change to FF.

In other news, the Stars just got eliminated by Vancouver yay!

You can disable that button if I'm not mistaken. I know it's a bit late now.

But anyway. Yeah I'm with on the twinkels getting eliminated. I'm a Kings fan (hangs head in shame) but since my boys are not in the playoffs I'm pulling for the nucks to go all the way.

Okay I'm getting way off topic.

First mistake: Writing straight to browser

Whenever im writing lots of text online (apart from e-mails in Gmail because it has auto save :D) I write it in Word first then cut + paste.

Too late now but still. It's like when you bang your head and someone says "Mind your head!" lol

When you're writing out a tutorial, why would you write it in MS word? I use a lot of tags as I go to format the tutorial so using word then pasting it, then going back in and trying to find all the spots I need to add the formatting tags would be a huge pain in the ass. MUCH easier to write it directly in the editor then just run google spellcheck and you're done.

And yes I know you can disable the button, but it shouldn't be something I have to do because MS SUCKS.

It's morning and I'm still bitter.

Sorry but hahahahaha.

Don't start that retarded IE vs everything debate... It's pretty much impossible to find anyone that can give a valid arguement as to why they use FF instead of IE other than being the "in-crowd". Security, speed and spyware blah blah is all the same crap now no matter how much you think otherwise and I can pretty much bet you had no clue that FF retains form data and IE didn't, seeing as you don't use IE. It's like people that say they prefer macs because "they're better at graphics". Wow can you spew anything else that is cliché that makes no sense?

Yeah go ahead argue... BRING IT!

Stupid mouse design... gawd.

This would have been a non issue if the MS mouse didn't have a retarded button right in a spot that is VERY likely to get hit by accident.

I have three things to say...

1) I feel your pain, I have a labtec mouse with the exact stupid design.
2) What the hell people? Browser debate over this? ......
3) I agree with no writing the tutorial straight into the browser....

It's already planned in future upgrades... Adam it was rejected in terms of something that would be ready in time for initial release.

yeah I know what you mean... is it set automaticly that it does that? if so they should just automaticly have the normal buttons set and if you want the other ones doing something they show you how to do it oither then that.... I barly use that button anyways so I find it so pointless.... and also IE is a good browser never found anythign wrong with it... only reason I changes was becaus I don't use windows anymore... so meh....

You should take a look at the MS IT Academy books. Both the Lab Book and the Textbook for XP Pro. I think they forgot to spell check. There is a comma in the middle of one of the words.
