New Macbook Pros came out today! I've been waiting 4-5 months for them to come out with the i7! I've never owned a Mac before so I'm going to buy it next week hopefully! I can't wait
I plan to get a 15" i7
8GB of ram
500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm
Hi-Res Antiglare Widescreen Display
Super excited!

Nice, I bought a MAC about 10 months ago and love it. It's going to be hard to ever go back to a PC.

I'm not a huge fan of Macs, being a programmer and all, but I've finally decided to get a macbook as well. My reasons being:
(1) You need a Mac to deploy iPhone apps.
(2) I need something really lightweight, but also powerful.
(3) Once you get over the obscure way that you have to do things in Mac OS, they're bloody awesome for design work.
Also, for all you Apple-ites who are gonna have a go at me for calling Mac OS obscure, I only say it because I've been using Windows all my life. Please don't hurt me!

Intel i7, 8gb of RAM, 500gb HDD, all sounds nice, but the thing I'm interested in is the graphics card.
Is it one of those puny "on board" ones or it's something better?

There are two graphics cards, It will switch between the onboard intel one and the NVidia Geforce GT 330M depending on what you are doing and if you are in energy saving mode. You can also download an app that allows you to choose which one you are running on.

Hah.. i remeber wen i first got my mac i was excited as hell, some regrets because i wanted it to play games but not looking hard enough i could of got a dedicated gaming computer for that price, but the mac has been excellent, its very fragile compared to a pc though only had to go under 1 repair and was fixed within 3 days its nearly 2-3 years old and still works only issue is 2 missing keys and dvd drive dont work but other then that its good, but yeah macs are very fast and reliable what is it you need the mac for anyway? just curiouse..
