George could see that the finish line was near, and with a burst of speed he passed the others and won the race by several feet. Although first prize was $1000 and a beautiful glass trophy, George never recieved either .

Since George didn't test "postive" for drugs and he wasn't disqualified, why didn't he recieve the awards?

Maybe there were two races and he ended up at the wrong finish line

First thought that came to mind was that George was a dog/animal of some sort but then it wud have got disqualified anyways.

Another:

On my way to the fair,
I met seven jugglers and a bear.
Every juggler had three cats,
Every cat had three rats,
Every rat had two mice,
All the mice had nine lice,
Lice, mice, rats, and cats,
Seven jugglers and a bear,
How many in all were going to the fair?

Cheater

An easier one:

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology has come up with a new method for replenishing this natural resource. It was traditionally done by hand, but this method is now considered too labour-intensive and therefore is too expensive. The Insitute's suggestion is to encase each one in a cone-shaped biodegradable container, and bomb a particular area. What would they be doing?

Yep

An electric train is headed North at 45 miles per hour, the wind is blowing east at 15 miles per hour. Which way would the smoke from the engine blow?

Sid Shady rode into Kansas City on Thursday with several hundred dollars. Three days after his arrival, he was robbed and lost his entire fortune. Broke and dejected, he left on Thursday. How is this possible?

The first Thursday refers to his horse and second Thursday refers to the day.
