definately, make sure the viewports are all in wireframe too...try wireframe, always works for me..
and if your in max and using meshsmooth and high iterations or nurbs sub div then make it so it isnt viewable in the viewports but only when rendered, cus that slows it down alot too in the viewports

Yey, cos... like, i'm the best... Possibly. I did dissapear for a while... But, now im hereYea ur quite right like whateva happened to HellzDev lol(I've noticed the "seniors" of my day whern I was a young P2Lian have moved one and SHIVMOO, syntex and others like me have taken their place :S - still see some around like Andy and such)
I MIGHT actaully concider entering this competition. As you all know, i'm a photoshop guy... not too good on the old C4D... but, i'm getting there
Nice entries so far by the way, really really nice!
BTW.. Does anyone fancy donating to the 'Andy 3D center' - It's been open since about 1996, nad basically helps young children called Andy to help with Cinema 4D.. Well, basically, i'd just like some renders to look at and study to see how they were done - So, if anyone has some old stuff that they fancy letting me have a look at, please feel free to send me a PM
Thankyoooo,
Andy

EDIT - Ok, so... i've been working on this for like, a while. Not bad to say the only tutorials i have EVER done was one from greycobra, and the start of that character moddeling... which means, it's like.. my 2nd render I dunno if i can be arsed to do anymore, but.. obviously its just started
