Hi everyone!

Sorry about the little bits of downtime we had earlier this week... a stick of Ram on the server decided to go crazy and was causing some issues on the box. We had it swapped out and it's back to smooth sailing, despite being back on a single server again. Ty has been having some problems with the Data Center in getting us a working dual machine setup that does what we need it to do without costing $2000, but we're finally starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. We're looking to get hooked up with some new hardware they're offering that should resolve all this and we can move on with increasing traffic without completely bogging the site down.

So with my fingers crossed and tongue in cheek, I'm hoping by this weekend we're out of server hell!

Aside from that, not too much going on aside from regular and consistent updates to all things P2L, working on some new articles and of course harassing Jay daily to get his arse in gear on our Hammertime project. Hope everyone is doing well and gearing up for Easter and summer that is only a couple of months away and we've got some AWESOME stuff planned!

Lucky the RAM didn't fry the entire machine. That's what happened to my friend.. but he's not exactly amazing with computer hardware, so I guess it's fine if you're in competent hands.

I dunno if this has to do with this spefic thing or not, but I noticed that thier Zeta server was messing up for awhile there. I was moved to their Lamda server. So far I have no complaints with them

There's a very noticeable change in loading times for me...The pages are loading twice as faster than before!

We had a gaffe at about 9 AM and we did not have the monitoring set up to let anyone know something had borked itself, Dan and I both woke up and flipped out

Might have one more brief outage (I am monitoring the box waiting for it to happen again, if it does - so I can ascertain the root cause and correct it).

After this weekend all these sorts of kinks will have been worked out.

Afaik the server had too many MySQL connections. Gave me the mysql.sock error..

Aside from these hiccups, the server is rocking... we have 400+ ppl on here right now and the pages load instantly. Can't wait for Monday when we're at 700+
