If your website sits on EV1servers data center you were running off a generator for a few hours, they are back to normal power now. Houston was spared a direct hit.

ThePlanet is fine, they have plenty of procedures in place and their datacenter webcams show nothing unusual ;)

Oh man this sucks, Rita Evacuee's were killed by a bus fire!

Trapped by their infirmities and surrounded by flames, the residents of a facility called Brighton Gardens cried out for help in their broken-down bus on Interstate 45 near Dallas, but rescuers could not reach them. Three Dallas County deputy sheriffs and a local police officer could not get past the second-level step of the bus when they arrived at 6:09 a.m.

How terrible would that be? ;) :(

what are the odds of two strong hurricanes back to back...is it global warming or something else...all i know is that we need to quit heating and melting the earth's icecaps and oceans...

Lmfao! I was refreshing the page and watching a deer run around the parking lot. That's great.

Anywho - There's gonna be another hurricane directly after this one. And another. And Another. And Another. Know why? We [REMOVED] up the o-zone layer so bad it's about a milimeter thick now. We're screwed. The hurricane's are coming because of our polution...it reminds me of the Day After Tomorrow.

It happened to us in florida last year with the double header deal. They both made landfall at sewals point, only 5 or 6 miles from my house. Now we gotta worry about Wilma... I'm not too concerned though, it'll be weak by the time it reaches me.

When I saw that there was the "strongest hurricane ever" heading towards florida, I was like, oh no, not fcuk!, but it sounds like you live inland so you should be copasetic.

I don't live inland, I live in the mid east coast, nobody around here's too concerned about it. Since it's going to hit the west coast, it'll be weaker by the time it gets to us, expecially considering the speed it's moving at.

Well, right now they're estimating Wilma will cross the entire state -- everyone will be effected to some degree. I live near Tampa Bay on the gulf coast, so we'll definately feel the effects.

But, this little comment makes me uneasy...

"This is one of the more perplexing storms we've had to deal with this year," Mayfield said. "We're just going to have to watch it."

We have relatives in Lakeland, but we're not on good terms with them. Last year we lived on a coastal island; Madeira Beach. All the hurricanes hit during that time period, but none of which caused major damage. My mother, hysterical, decided to buy a new house further inland. We don't know what we're going to do, the meteoroligist said Wilma will be a high category 2, low category 3, when it hits the gulf coast of Florida. We'll just have to wait and see.

Thank's for wishing me well Fcuk. I'm sure nothing will be too bad.
