American football in the UK? no way, not many people watch it here, only soccer and rugbyNot so popular in europe, just in england and ireland i think.

Well it's not exactly the same sort of a copy but with diffrent equipment but the play and strategy are basicly the same.

Not at all... not even close to the same game.
And soccer needs to do something about the diving... the last world cup was a disgrace.

dan: the last WC was a disgrace partially because of diving, but id say it was more to do with the poor level of football to be honest. diving isnt going anywhere yet. until the suits decide to do something about it which they dont, personally i think they should allow bans to be dished out after a game (much like they do for violent conduct etc), when players know they will get caught. i think i have somehow ended up in the wrong thread.

They definitely need to boot people the second they dive. No one has a chance of saying soccer is better than american football until they get that shit under control and we can see what a game looks like minus the crying.
Yeah so who's doing the superbowl thing? Personally I love any excuse that gets me to watch a ball game and get some beers in me
