I'm a little disgusted in what I have seen on TV and yes I have watched a lot but wow they are not even dropping water or food to some of these people, and they cannot say its unsafe everywhere because of the crazy looters and snipers as all the news people look very alive and well.I couldn't even believe the carnage when I saw it, an entire city virtually wiped out, it was horrible. I'm gonna donate like I did during the wake of the tsunami diseaster and see if I can help in any way.
Lots of people are sending some very angry emails into CNN and I can see why there is something very wrong in this, where is the real help these people need they keep saying its coming but no one arrives its really heatbreaking to watch all of this, donating money is good but donating for what? To watch on TV an old lady dies in her wheelchair because she simply dehydrates from no water
2005 a civilized country and to see this is so very wrong
[end of rant]

Rescue Operations stopped due to 'Urban Warfare'. Rape & murder rife + police looting
More News on the New Orleans situation...
Here is just some of it:
http://www.cnn.com/2...index.html#fema
The director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Michael Brown, said his agency was attempting to work "under conditions of urban warfare."
One displaced resident at the Louisiana Superdome said [sic] "They have quite a few people running around here with guns," he said. "You got these young teenage boys running around up here raping these girls."
Elsewhere, groups of armed men wandered the streets, buildings smoldered and people picked through stores for what they could find. Charity Hospital, one of several facilities attempting to evacuate patients, was forced to halt the effort after coming under sniper fire. (Full story)

Some groups, the reporters wrote, "organized themselves into assembly lines to more efficiently cart off goods. Inside the store, one woman was stocking up on make-up. She said she took comfort in watching police load up their own carts. 'It must be legal,' she said. 'The police are here taking stuff, too.'
This is just crazy and sickening....

This is no laughing matter and I do hope you are kidding. There are thousands dead so far, and more are dying as we speak as hospitals are shut down and critically ill patients are being refused from federal triage centers. It's sickening.lol, anyways on topic. I hope everyone is okay from new orleans
Edit:
The Red Cross is requesting that if you are able that you give blood. Please if you are able donate this valuable resource to help those injured. Please give the gift of life.
